Video – Watercolor Washing

Dear Friends,

I hope my last blog post tempted you to try the Watercolor Wash technique. If not, perhaps my card today will encourage you to give it a try. The stamp set, Awesomely Artistic, is ideal for the effect. Even the little dots on the paper are made using an image from the stamp set.

The card below is actually the first card I made using the technique. I had a little mess up, but I learned from it.  The video (shown at the end of this post) shows what I did wrong and how I fixed it. You just gotta try — you don’t learn unless you do. And if we  “mess up” badly, we’ve just wasted a little paper. Isn’t paper crafting great?

I made a pdf with instructions on how to do the technique.  Click April 2016 Watercolor washing to download it.

This technique was so much fun that I decided to use it for my Monthly Creative Challenge. The members are having a BALL with this technique. I’ve gotten such positive feedback, I’ve been smiling big smiles at how excited they are to try it for themselves. Love my creative challenge members 🙂  Would love for you to join in on the fun. Enjoy the video!
