Circle Punches — all over a card

Dear Friends,

So I had an idea. I thought it would be really cool to surround an image in punched circles. I gave it a try and it was fun! I did encounter a problem, though. My punches wouldn’t reach that far in.  LOL. The best laid plans, right?

I added some metallic sequins, even gluing them to the center of the larger punched holes. It’s a different kind of card, yet still delicate looking. I also challenged myself to use a color I never ever use — Tempting Turquoise. I love the bright color and decided to leave my comfort zone and use it! I didn’t go too crazy with it, though. I muted it with some neutral browns so that the card would be vivid, but still elegant.

Hope this inspires you to try an idea that you’ve had. And if it doesn’t work out perfectly, I hope you will love the results and learn something new, just as I did!
