Taking Care of Yourself

I’m doing something BIG. I’m going on vacation for a week and I’m unplugging. I’ll be resting and rejuvenating my mind and body, and most of the time I’ll have no Internet, computers, TV, or phones. I know you’re thinking – why am I doing something so extreme? How will I manage? What will I do with my time? My answer to these questions is “How will I manage if I DON’T take the time to unplug?”

I think it’s important in our busy modern lives to give ourselves a rest. Our eyes get tired, our minds never seems to get a break, and we’re chronically short on sleep.

Receive Encouragement to Take Care of Yourself

A common theme I hear when I chat with stampers is that lots of us aren’t taking care of ourselves. We love to stamp since it’s a great stress reliever, but we’re so busy taking care of everyone else that we put ourselves last. I’m on a quest to change that!

In my stamping newsletter, I have a special feature called “Taking Care of Yourself.” In each newsletter, I suggest a different idea that you can do to take care of yourself. Even little things, like drinking more water, will add up and keep you healthier and more energized.

Subscribe to my  newsletter here. You’ll also receive projects and project sheets that I don’t post anywhere else!

While I’m Away

Since I’ll be unplugged, I won’t be posting to my blog this week. I’ll miss you and our interactions a ton and I already look forward to saying hello when I get back.

Please leave me a comment and let me know if you’ve ever taken a vacation where you unplugged. How did it go and what were the benefits?

Have a fabulous week!
